Al Ain Zoo is a 400-hectare (990-acre) zoo located in the foothills of Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. The zoo was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1968. It is one of the most important and diverse tourism attractions on both local and global level, and is a home to over 4000 animals.
